In this collaboration with CNLM (Center for Natural Lands Management), join naturalist and educator Licia Sahagun from Firecraft Northwest in the forests and prairies of Glacial Heritage Preserve for a late summer wildlife and nature awareness walk followed by a restoration work party with Mo Morwell from CNLM.
Participants will learn about the basics of bird language and wildlife track and sign as a way of tuning into the natural world. During a meander along the trails, participants will discuss the in-field wildlife signs and bird sounds they discover along the way.
After the community wildlife walk, Mo Morwell from CNLM will lead the group for an afternoon work party to remove invasive plant species and protect this vulnerable habitat.
