Take a break from your screens and get outside before the sun sets! We’ll meet at the McLane Creek Nature Trail to move slowly through the dripping forest, meet new friends, and see what we can find in the ever-verdant temperate rainforest we call home. This social walk will be focused mostly on connecting with each other and enjoying a slow hike, but we’ll also throw in some naturalist knowledge about what we find along the trail! This outing is free, but RSVP is required.
This trail is mostly flat, with some boardwalks. Read a more full description of the trail here. This is DNR-managed lands and a Discover Pass is required for parking. There is a vault toilet a short walk from the parking lot.
