Wild Women Walks - Worm Moon (free)

  • Capitol Land Trust Preserve (APPROXIMATE LOCATION) 4900 Puget Road Northeast Olympia, WA, 98516 United States (map)

Join Licia from Firecraft Northwest for March’s full moon sunset walk. March’s moon is known, among other names, as the Worm Moon, referring to when worms and other invertebrates emerge from the newly thawed ground.

As we walk, we’ll get to know each other and discuss what new growth we see around us in the woods and what new growth, adventures, and goals may be happening in our own lives!

This will be a slow paced hike of easy to moderate difficulty -- the trail includes slightly uneven terrain and includes a large hill. There is a portable toilet at the parking area.

This outing is on a Capitol Land Trust site not yet open to the public. We will provide the exact address for those who RSVP, but it is located 15 minutes northeast of downtown Olympia, between South Bay and Beachcrest.
