  • Squaxin Park 2600 East Bay Drive Northeast Olympia, Washington, 98506 United States (map)

In this outdoor program, learn survival skills with a focus on the world of knots, rope, and shelter building. Learn five essential knots for quick and easy tarp set up, then deploy your shelter in minutes! Train with the instructor to discover two emergency debris shelter building techniques.

Knots and rope can be used in a vast number of ways, but many of us have forgotten the basics! We’ll cover knots and rope foundations that will apply to gardening, camping, survival, around the house, boating, and more!

Shelter is our most important survival priority, so we can stay dry and keep our core body temperature regulated. Get ready for your next adventure with the skills and knowledge from this interactive shelter course!
