Join naturalists from Firecraft Northwest to take a break from your screen, spend some time in the woods, and make new friends! This casual, social stroll will be a time to decompress and meet new people as well as see what nature finds we can learn about along the way. This outing is free, but RSVP is required.
We’ll meet near the parking lot at LBA Park and head for LBA Woods - meandering trails that make you feel like you’ve escaped into a bit of wilderness. At this location we have heard Great Horned and Barred Owls and seen track and sign from other birds and mammals. Join us to see what we can see on the 28th and give your brain and body a break from screens!
We’ll likely cover about 1.5 to 2 miles, but learn more about the whole trail system here. They are gravel or packed earth with a series of ups and downs, though we’ll be moving slowly so we can get to know one another.
Parking is free. Flush toilets available near the parking lot.
