Wild Women Walk - Moon of Falling Leaves (FREE)

  • Grass Lake Nature Park 814 Kaiser Rd NW, Olympia, WA 98502 Olympia Washington (map)

Join Licia from Firecraft Northwest for a slow stroll among the falling leaves and new friends. This month’s full moon is the Harvest Moon as well as the Time of Falling Leaves (Snohomish/Tulalip).

We’ll get to know each other, ID some of our local deciduous trees that drop their leaves, and keep an eye out for the rising Super Moon. We’ll also learn about the many names for this month’s moon and what they help us learn about what’s happening in the natural world around us.

We’ll do a slow walk on mostly flat pavement, packed earth, and boardwalk for about 2 miles. Note - there is no bathroom at this trailhead.

Parking is free in the brand new parking lot or along the nearby street.

This outing is free, but RSVP is required. Please sign up using the form below.
