Plant ID Practice Walk (FREE)

  • Pioneer Park 5801 Henderson Boulevard Southeast Tumwater, WA, 98501 United States (map)

The middle of fall is an excellent time to practice identifying plants. Many of the trees and ground cover in our area are still holding some of their leaves and flower remnants which guide our studies.

Our goal on this free community walk is to take a loop around Pioneer Park to socialize and answer questions folks have about plants and practice our identification skills. This a perfect place for participants to point out plants they are interested to learn.

Accessibility
The parking area has restrooms available.
This will be a flat hike of easy difficulty, totaling approximately 2 miles of walking at a slow pace. We will stop frequently to study plants.

Meeting location
Participants will receive a reminder email about where we will meet in the park in the days leading up to the event. Please double check your spam / junk folders if you do not receive a reminder.

RSVP
Even though this event is free, please use the form below to RSVP so we can get a headcount and send out a reminder email!
