Join Licia from Firecraft Northwest for November’s Full Moon Wild Women Walk.
This month is the Beaver Moon, a time when beavers are their most active, building dams in preparation for the winter months. We’ll walk the trail at McLane Creek, a perfect spot for beaver sightings, (waterfowl, and possible salmon) and take time to reflect on how we’re preparing for our own winter season.
We’ll walk slowly and sometimes silently along the 1.5-2 mile trail so that we can connect with nature, each other, and maybe the local beavers!
Please note - these walks are for all women, including individuals assigned female at birth, those who currently identify as female, non-binary femme folks, and others who don’t feel safe alone in the outdoors. Please help me to create a safe, welcoming space as we explore outside together!
