Wildlife tracking with Capitol Land Trust (FREE)

  • Bayshore Preserve Shelton, Washington, 98584 United States (map)

This guided outing in partnership with Capitol Land Trust’s Second Saturdays focuses on developing observation skills to notice clues left behind in the landscape such as tracks, scat, and other signs of animal activity. As we move slowly through the preserve, we’ll pause often to look closely at what we find and consider which animals may have passed through.

Whether you’re new to tracking or simply curious about the wildlife around you, this is a great way to see the landscape from a new perspective while spending time outdoors with community. No prior experience needed—beginners are welcome.
